I was sceptical getting this book as I am a pantser and thought this book would be more focused on plotting and planning. This wasn't the case.

Throughout each chapter it is explained in a clear and thought provoking way how to go along your journey of writing your book.

With this book you can use it to throughly plot and plan out your novel

OR

You can use the advice, guidance and wisdom given throughout the book as you need it while pantsing/planting or any form of writing style you use on while writing your book.

This book is suitable if you are only just starting out your book, stuck in the middle or have a draft or 50, no matter where you are in your writing journey Jessica Brody has an encouraging and thought proving process that allows you to take a step back and look at your story, characters and makes you think, makes you question your story to make sure that you can create the best version of your story possible.

Despite my trepidation about a formula, the “beat sheet” model has been an inspiration and has reignited my desire to pick up the pen. Excellent and In-depth examples, with a pleasant narration style, I highly recommend to anyone who is “stuck” with plotting or even considering penning their own novel.

Inspiring and easily digestible
