About this listen

In the aftermath of the zombie apocalypse, a lone survivor faces a grave new threat as even the undead begin to disappear, in this sequel to Mountain Man.

Ever since the end of civilization, Gus Berry has spent his days waking up, getting drunk, and preparing for the inevitable zombie attack on his mountain fortress. Occasionally, he must take his life in his hands and venture into the undead world below in search of supplies.

These days, Gus is accustomed to the mortal threats he encounters. He has steeled himself against the corpse-infested streets, human scavengers, and unending loneliness. But now something new and strange is happening: the zombies are disappearing.

It seems a mysterious new threat is assembling—something even more relentless and terrifying than the roaming tides of dead flesh. And it’s preparing to hunt . . .

The adventures of Gus are quickly becoming a favourite Zombie experience. Great story and action.Intetesting direction and as always amazing narration by the master, Mr RC Bray.

Any additional comments?

Ok to be honest was a bit weird story line but i suppose after 2 years pretty much on own and then betrayed and bit abused you will go cabin fever crazy...... For such an unlucky man he gets very lucky..... Overall if you just go with the flow it is quite funny in places, the end was building up well and then seemed to whimp out, think over did the damage to Gus so really where was it to go i suppose. Overall enjoyable just not great.

Strange follow on from first book...

Stumbled on Mountain Man by accident and now I'm utterly hooked. Brilliant writing and outstanding narration. This story reminds me of some dystopian future that we can't be entirely sure would never happen. I'm routing for Gus all the way.

Just brilliant
