About this listen
As survivors come together in the wake of a zombie apocalypse, a deadly new menace emerges, in this dystopian horror series.
After nearly four years, the zombie epidemic has almost burned itself out. Once a lone survivor on the brink of insanity, Gus Berry has a new life on a communal farm, his daily routine of policing the fields only rarely disrupted by straying undead. Gus’s drinking binges are over, and the dark days of Annapolis are soon to be a distant memory. But his troubles are far from over . . .
When Gus is asked to search for a group of missing scavengers, he reluctantly agrees. But he soon discovers a new predator has been unleashed upon the land, one determined to harvest every last mortal life—and feed it to a ravenous machine.

Would you consider the audio edition of Well Fed to be better than the print version?
Anything read by RC Bray is better than the printed version; the narrator brings the characters to life and tells the story in ways that spark the imagination and pull it in different directions from that which the written word alone could do.What was one of the most memorable moments of Well Fed?
The most disappointing moment of the book was the end. Though the series could easily be concluded at this point I'm not quite ready to let go of the Mountain Man's story just yet.Have you listened to any of R. C. Bray’s other performances? How does this one compare?
R.C. Bray does an outstanding job as usual. I've listened to him narrate several different titles and he is by far my favourite narrator. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The entire book keeps up a high tempo pace and is difficult to put down.Any additional comments?
The first 3 books of the Mountain Man saga are terrific and this one is no different. A combination of great story telling, fantastic writing and exceptional narration make this a very enjoyable book. If you have read/listened to the other Mountain Man books then you really need to get this one. If you have no experience with the Mountain Man and his escapades .... get some!Every Bit As Good As The Others
