About this listen

As undead hordes roam the frozen landscape, a lone man hunts an even deadlier foe, in this gritty horror thriller.

A serial killer stalks the ice-glazed streets. Half-frozen deadheads choke the avenues. Infected vermin rise from the labyrinth of sewer systems, hungry for warm flesh. And a handful of survivors struggle to escape and find safety in a world overrun with zombies.

In his hunt for the monster known as Tenner, Scott must contend with all of this and more—before things get even worse. Welcome to Hellifax.

After book 2 which I found to be pretty poor I was undecided if I should go for Halifax. In the end Im glad I did. Its not that book 2 did not have its good parts, but it was the constant repitition that at times made it unbearable. Some editing would make it a much better book. This book, Halifax,, thankfully suffered less from repitition but could have still done with some more editing to cut out some of the dead wood. Having said that its a good story that rolls along at a pace, with some very good characterisation.

Pretty Good!

This installment follows Scott, after his departure from Gus and his new lady friend up at the mountain retreat, to take care of some unfinished business (Tanner).

Brilliant writing and story development, and some superb new characters. I got into the series from the free short story The Hospital, and ever since each book has been better than the last. Looking forward to book 4 which has the highest rating, too!

Good job Mr.Blackmore
