Story
New Hope, South Carolina is my home. It’s where I grew up, got into trouble, and fell in love for the first time. Scarlett Kincaid was more than the girl next door, she was my best friend, until she decided that small town life wasn’t for her. The girl I used to fish with down at the creek is now the biggest name in country music, and I haven’t seen her since she left. Until today when she sped through town in her fancy car. One look at her big brown eyes was all it took to stir up a whole slew of emotions. Emotions I’d long ago buried and sure as hell don’t have time for.

So repetitive
I loved the previous books in this series however the sex scenes are always so repetitive but this book is far worse Sam just kept repeating herself, as an example I want to lick your stars (tattoos) over and over again during the book. I have never known a family gathering (which is the basis of the series,) where the female characters talk about wanting orgasms ( "I want orgasms.) and talk to each other about "dick piercing" and so on. When I got to the bit where she was licking his scrotum I just had to fast forward. I enjoy sex scenes but with some variation not just repeating the same words over and over usually as soon as they arrived home her panties were wet as soon as he looked at her. Halfway thru this book I just fast forwarded all the sex scenes as they were so boring and had heard it all before. Would have loved more story or variation on the sex scenes this author is good a pity she just seemed to fill the book up repeating the same old thing. The other theme that seems strange as all the males are so jealous of the partner virtually after one meeting. I will try one more of her books probably in the hope her imagination has improved a bit.

It was so hot, but sweet at the same time.
First, It will be a more beneficial if you complete the series in order. Rock With Me is the 4th book in 'With Me in Seattle' series. This story is about Leo Nash, front man of the world famous rock group named Nash, and Samantha Williams, Luke's sister. Leo Nash has made it big in the music industry. He has it all so it seems. When he decides to go back to Seattle to see his long time "sister", Meg, he meets Samantha Williams. Leo is quickly intrigued by this sarcastic, gorgeous and witchy woman. Samantha is no stranger to the lives of the rich and famous. After all, her brother is Luke Williams. She has been terribly hurt in the past by the price of fame which has made her standoffish and unapproachable. She doesn't show many people that under her tough exterior lies a compassion and caring woman who is simply scared to take any more chances on love. Meeting Leo Nash has all her red flags on high alert. But damn is he is not hard to stay away from. Leo was the perfect mixture of sexy, bad-ass and sweet. I absolutely loved how Leo saw past Sam's walls and saw something worth fighting for in her. As the barriers Sam has erected slowly begin to come down, we see how perfect they are for one another. We do learn that Leo was raised from foster to foster house, and has some major trust issues as well. But together, they overcome their past so they can have a future they both crave, and deserve. The author again provided us with a book full of hot and steamy scenes as well as a tender and heart-felt romance. The romance between Leo & Sam was simply heart-fluttering. It was nothing over the top....just perfect.

Glad it’s with the Romance Package..
This was good but not as good as the previous book. There was at least one scene that kept me laughing so hard that I had to repeat it a few times. I am enjoying the series.

Went On Too Long
I kept thinking this book was ending, but it just kept going. The problem with that is that it became boring. I kept going to read other books and then back to this one just to finish it. What's strange about that is that for the most part I liked the characters. Samantha's phobia about commitment was a bit much, but Leo is charming and cool at the same time.
Overall, this story is pretty much like any other Kristen Proby story: Hot sex scenes and the angst of new love. So, if you like KP, you'll like this book.
The only other thing that really bugged me was the male narrator. This is sort of a pet peeve of mine - male narrators whose voice does not match the character! I liked Jennifer Mack's voice for Leo better than the actual Leo Narrator. This guy sounds like a smooth-talking forty-something, not a kick-ass thirty-something rocker! This happens all the time for me though, so maybe it's just me.

Needs a new cover
I feel bad saying this but the photo on the cover of this book is a real turn off to me! It affected the way I pictured Leo and Sam in a bad way. I'm also not that into all the tattoos and piercings that are so prevalent in this series. The female narrator made Leo's voice sound like a dimwitted surfer dude, not great.

My favorite story in the series.
What did you love best about Rock with Me?
I liked the characters. They were edgy and still managed to retain that aspect of their character despite the romance.
What did you like best about this story?
I like how the author lets the characters somewhat determine what shape their happy ending takes. Often in this kind of book it is always a wedding and 2.5 kids. It was for some of the other books in the series, but these two don't fit that mold and she didn't squeeze them into it. I also like the way she writes a musician. When the story is told from his perspective he notices sounds and nuances that would appeal to a musician and an artist. She doesn't just rewrite the same character over and over but with different hair and career. They really are individuals. I enjoy that.
Which character – as performed by Jennifer Mack – was your favorite?
Samantha.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes! Sadly I had to sleep at some point..

Hot Hot Hot
I really enjoyed this book. The interaction between Leo and Sam kept me on my toes and I never felt like the storyline stalled. I started this author with Safe with Me and I was hesitant to get another in this series as I didn't fall in love with Caleb & Brinna's story. I defiantly loved this story and was entertained beginning to end. My only complaint is this book ends abruptly. There are epilogues in the other books that help you see what's in store for the characters but not this book; it just ends.

Star Licking? Oh yes Please !!
Any additional comments?
I also want to Lick Those Stars on Leo......... What a Hot ,Sexy Tattooed Rocker he is. Kristen Proby doesn’t disappoint with another great look into the lives of the fabulous Montgomerys and their extended families. This is a dynamite series........ :) Ms. Proby not only tells us the fabulous story of Rock Star Leo Nash and Samantha Williams (a Montgomery in-law) but she continues to develop the stories of previous characters in the series as well as bringing you closer to the characters yet to have their stories unfold. I loved how Leo and Samantha's story didn't have any big drama's in it. That was a nice change to have a true love story with-out any huge breakup's or other massive upsets. I'm finding every book in this series brings me yet another fulfilling Story that i can re-listen to and reminisce about when ever I fancy. It's a definitely keeper :))

ROCK WITH ME... HELL YEAH ANYTIME
This book caught my attention so I downloaded it without listening to the previous books in the series - stupid yes, however and despite this, I found it really enjoyable, nevertheless I'm sure it definitely would have been an even better and more fulfilling listen had I of started at book 1 first.
Samantha has been hurt and burnt by fame in the past so has built walls around her letting no-one in.... that is until sexy, tattooed lead singer Leo, who knows what he wants and it's Samantha, slowly dismantles her, and her walls, brick by brick. But it's a hard fight as she's stubborn and determined not to cave but his patience, determination and love are all the weapons he needs in the fight for her heart.
This was a touching, tender, sweet, funny, hot, frustrating but well-written story that's full of likeable characters that I intend to get more acquainted with as I go back in time and download all the previous books in the series. If you haven't yet listened to any in the series then please learn from my mistake of being too eager and begin this great series where it ought to have been started - at book 1.
Worth a credit? Errr that folks, if you haven't guessed it, is a bit fat YES but I need so many more hours in my day if I'm going to catch-up.
