Summary

Der Engländer Robinson Crusoe fährt gegen den Widerstand seines Vaters zur See. Er wird von Piraten gefangen und versklavt. Ihm gelingt die Flucht und er wird von einem Schiff aufgenommen, dass nach Brasilien fährt. Dort kauft er eine Zuckerplantage und bewirtschaftet diese. Um Sklaven zu holen fährt er wieder zur See. Sein Schiff zerschellt jedoch an einer Klippe und er strandet auf einer einsamen Insel. Das Notwendigste kann er aus dem Wrack bergen und richtet sich auf der Insel häuslich ein. Nach 28 Jahren trifft er auf Landsleute mit deren Hilfe er wieder in die Zivilisation und nach Europa gelangt...
