Summary

Why the hell did I get involved with my best friend's brother?

It was time to make a choice. Do I follow my head or my heart?

The guy I was dating seemed perfect on paper. Good looking, well-educated, and from a wealthy family. So, why did I feel sick when he was about to propose?

When I found out that my best friend’s brother had lied and said we were married, why didn’t I run the other way?

I guess I just can’t resist a man in uniform. This guy has got it going on.... He’s dashing, sexy, and strong! The kind of guy you’d like to take for a ride. The ride of a lifetime, that is.

Do I keep up the ruse and pretend to be his wife? Or do I let this pilot crash and burn?

Sweet

This was definitely a fun read there was plenty happening that kept me more than entertained during this. The drama level was spot on.

The narrator did a good job

Riding the Pilot.

Loved listening to this audiobook the story was great. Pete and Diane are twins. Pete ended up with a job in military, hoping not to get in so he lied on his paper work but he still got in. Diane was a kindergarten teacher and she had a secret of her own. It had a lot of twists and turns and emotions that made you want more when their secrets came out.
The narrator was easy to understand clearly spoken.

Lacklustre story with awful sound editing

There were lines repeated, could hear every breath in by the narrator, and she even coughed at one point. Shockingly bad sound editing! Her voices were decent so I think she could be a good narrator.

The story was a bit lacklustre, and escalated from nothing to “I love yous” with no development. Bit of reminiscing school time fat shaming which I thought was in poor taste and unnecessary, and the whole plot could have been resolved earlier if the heroine hadn’t handled her break up so terribly.

Terrible narrator

The storyline on this is solid, but the narrator is DREADFUL!! Large inhales of breath, paper rustling, coughing and getting the character names wrong and self correcting halfway through are to name but some of her atrocities - almost put me off, thank goodness the story was enough to (barely) salvage it.
