About this listen

‘...perfect setting, perfect dress, perfect flowers, 108 guests - and one, total and utter, rat.’

Abandoned at the altar, Rosalind Shaw descends into the kind of depression which involves her watching too much daytime TV. After several inebriated months, Ros relocates to St Albans and begins a new life, as part-owner of a bookshop. However, just when Ros begins to feel that life might be improving, her rather hairy neighbour, Daniel, knocks on her door with a bunch of flowers and some rather distressing news....

So glad I bought this audio book - it genuinely is laugh out loud funny. Had to stop listening to it in bed as I kept waking my husband.

It was very hard to find the main character likeable throughout the book as she had the habit of going into these little rants for no reason and was super oblivious (to the point of being unbelievable sometimes).

A nice enough book that felt a little flat and didn’t really have anything memorable happen in it.

Cute but predictable tale
