Just buy it and listen to it

I quit using the Allen Carr method, with absolutely no belief whatsoever that it would work for me when I was around 27. I was a nervous wreck and told by a psychologist that smoking was a form of nurture for me, and that he would not recommend for me to quit smoking! I had tried previously using patches, gum, champex, attending an NHS clinic etc. I just gave it a go with nothing to lose, and the benefits and miracles to enter my life as a result of this book are too numerous to list.
I have to say, that I have a tendency of becoming a prisoner of the smoking trap since then and that is why I purchased this audiobook. It may start out as only having one with a drink, and takes about a year to become a fully fledged smoker again. I find it so easy to quit using this method. Allen mentions people who are my type of smoker in his original book, smokers who find it so easy and exhilarating to quit smoking, they have no fear of starting again :(
I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone, but particularly those who vape or have successfully quit using the original book only to find themselves trapped back in the cycle.
It feels wonderful to have quit smoking, with absolutely everything to gain and I'm not missing out or feeling like I'm giving anything up.

Three weeks in and still off the smokes and only had a craving twice in that time but was able to stay away from them

It works

I've smoked 20 a day for 8 years. I've tried to quit many times, enduring the expected irritability, low mood and mourning for my habit until I couldn't take any more and lit up. I listened to the book new years eve and had my last cigarette before midnight. The following few days I was optimistic but still awaited the unbearable cravings.. which didn't come. I'm now 2 weeks nicotine free and am certain I will never smoke again. It really was easy. I've read reviews of this method for years and never understood how a book could change the "inevitable pain" of withdrawal but it really does. I highly recommend this book to anyone who desperately wants to quit but feels powerless to do so.

it worked for me

longer than I thought it would be but long enough for the necessary thoughts to get thru my thick skull.
if you want to be free of nicotine addiction then I reccommend this book.

Worked better than I expected... Incredible!

easy reading, straight to the point and it worked better than I expected, it took 3 days after finishing it to start believing it, no cravings!

Amazing!

I quit smoking after reading Allen Carr’s original book but started again a couple weeks later like a dummy. I read this version and have quit again. The second time was a little more challenging than the first so if I can give you any advise it would be stick with it the first time around because it’s so easy the first time!!!

I quit

Amazing book, made quitting easy with no replacements of new habits. 35 year smoker and this was relatively painless. Recommend for every smoker. Will be gifting it to all my smoking friends

best Allen Carr related quit smoking book.

Fantastic book, the best of the 3 or 4 I've read. The authors really fully understand the issue and the addict and provide the perfect advice for anyone who smokes.

unbelievable

I never thought I would quit smoking by listening to a book. Followed the four day process and broke free of the addiction as he says you can. I recommend this anyone to try.

Only thing that ever worked.

perfect to quit smoking and never start back

it was great, you start this book while you are still smoking and by the end of the 4 days you never want to smoke, dip or vape again.

Good but didnt quit smoking

The idea of this quiting smoking technique is:

You dont really like cigarettes at all your just addicted to nicotine.

Thats it!

Problem is I do like cigarettes a lot.
I quit for 2 years without this book from 2012-2015. I did it by setting a quit date a month ahead of time. Plus chewed nicorete.
One tip you have to do is quit by having your last cigarette before bed and when you wake up that is your quit day. I promise you will never quit by starting in the middle of a day. It has to start when you wake up. This book will tell you the same thing.

One thing thats annoying about the book is the author acts like he is going to tell you some big secret to quiting and then at the end there is no big secret.

this is the best quit smoking method.

Allen Carr is amazing. his quit smoking method is magic. I never thought I'd be able to quit but he was able to save my life in just 4 days.
simply amazing. may he rest in peace.
