This is not the type of book I would normally listen to, but I was swayed by all the good reviews. I couldn't stop listening. I had to know how it ended. Yes it was violent and horrific in parts, but so captivating right from the start.
This book has gone straight into my top ten. Well written, well narrated.

I have read Karin Slaughter before as I enjoy crime thrillers.Her writing is compelling and she is an excellent story teller however this book is far too violent for me.

Gripped from beginning to end! This story is full of suspense.

In parts the story was upsetting/ disturbing but I most loved the warmth of the complex relationship portrayed between the two sisters and the humour which ran throughout the plot.

Fantastic narration- the characters were really brought to life

The story kept me guessing and genuinely made me feel nervous, shocked and humoured all at the same time.

Would you consider the audio edition of Pretty Girls to be better than the print version?

I much prefer listening to Karin Slaughter than reading them now and as it's unabridged you don't miss anything.

Pretty girls is one of Karin Slaughters most graphic novels I have read. I really enjoyed some of the plot twists when I thought I'd worked it all out

Good read, I was quickly hooked & put the hours in to finish quickly. Bit gruesome in parts & story was hard to believe / far fetched but the underlying element of family grief & relationships under strain kept me entertained.
