Summary

Pourquoi Leda interrompt-elle brusquement ses vacances ? Au bord de la mer, elle était subjuguée par une famille et en particulier une jeune femme, Nina, et sa fille Élena. Quand la petite Élena perd sa poupée, c'est toute la famille qui se mobilise pour la retrouver et ne pas gâcher ses vacances, jusqu'à mener des actions inquiétantes telle une battue organisée sur la plage. Or c'est Leda qui a pris la poupée. Pourquoi ce geste insensé ?

Ivana Coppola restitue avec talent et justesse l'intensité de ce récit introspectif, portrait sans fard d'une femme qui oscille entre raison et folie.
