Summary

Agents Lacey Sherlock and Dillon Savich are up against an unstable villain with a very long memory in this FBI Thriller from #1 New York Times bestselling author Catherine Coulter.

The explosive action kicks off as treasure-hunting FBI agent Ruth Warnecki is on the trail of stolen Confederate gold hidden in Winkel’s cave in western Virginia. She never expects to find herself chin-deep in a grisly murder that leaves her nearly dead and rocks the town of Maestro.

Then, at a stake-out in Maryland, FBI agents Dillon Savich and Dane Carver are nearly killed in a horrific explosion while attempting to rescue kidnap victim, Pinky Womack. They are led to Arlington National Cemetery where they not only find Pinky, but Savich also takes a fateful call on his cell from an old man out to kill both him and Sherlock. The thing is they have no clue why.

Pitted against an insane killer and his psychotic teenage girlfriend, Savich and Sherlock find themselves fighting a hate-driven villain with a grudge worth killing for...

Critic reviews

"Dick Hill is an experienced performer who deftly handles the numerous characters and keeps the story moving at breakneck speed....The production and performance are superb, and the way the story lines finally come together is a testament to Coulter's talent." ( AudioFile)

Excellent story telling

Two cases woven together well. Deeply human and compassionate good guys triumph amidst the craziness. One of Perry 's best!

Love Catherine Coulter's FBI Thrillers. Great book

Love Dillion and Sherlock. They make you feel as if you are in the book with them. Can't wait to see what they do next.

Great Narrator, decent story but not the best of the series

I really enjoy Savage and Sherlock and this series. That being said the varied narrators between the books are not a benefit to the continuity storyline. That being said I highly recommend Dick Hill. I have enjoyed his reading this book and of other stories as well.

As for the story, it feels like it kind of jumps in, in the middle without a clear lead in. Other than that it was an enjoyable story.

Great suspense

This book has 2 stories woven together. It has great suspense and characters. The male voices of the narrator are great! The female voices not so much but still good.

Good Series

Not my favorite in a very good series but it did bring a few old characters to the new adventure.

Wonderful.

I so love Catherine Coulter's work. Another great story. Twists and turns abound. So much fun to listen to Catherine's stories, and work out. Thanks again for a great ride.

hurried ending

the story was fine. plot and characters fine, then blam! hurried ending and anti-climatic. I was disappointed after this long build up. And author could have gave a conclusion of missing wife.

Mind Twisting

What made the experience of listening to Point Blank the most enjoyable?

I enjoyed the twist of characters.

What other book might you compare Point Blank to and why?

The cove.

What three words best describe Dick Hill’s performance?

I found it hard to distinguish between the parts by the voice inflections.
