About this listen

It started as a game.

We flirted. We played. Most importantly—we won.

Then I discovered who he was: Gambler. Famous playboy. Silver-eyed player who never plays to lose...

And my best friend’s soon-to-be brother in law, Cullen Carmichael.

He needed a good luck charm, I needed a distraction.

So we made a gamble and set off for Vegas—but pretty soon—I was in too deep.

My heart, soul, and body weren't supposed to be part of the deal.

But somewhere between big wins and long nights, my house of cards started to tumble.

What was this devil with those piercing eyes doing to me?

I’d given up on love, but the wicked, all-in Cullen Carmichael was upping the ante and wouldn’t stop until he’d won it all.

Great story of another member of the gang. With lots of funny ups and downs along the way.

I enjoyed this book, it was a good listen, but a couple of things bugged me. Firstly, Sebastian Yorke is a one click buy for me, so I was a little disappointed for him to not feature very heavily. We certainly hear more from him in the second half of the book, but still not enough. No stars were lost in my review for this...obviously...because thats the way the book was written, and short of Sebastian reading some of the female parts, he couldn't have done anymore, but it just bugged me that a narration god with a voice like silk was on the project and I couldn't melt into his honey tones as much as I'd have liked LOL
Secondly, there's points where the writer just really drags out some of the female M/C's internal dialogue to the point I'd kinda phase out then when I tuned back in I'd be a little confused about which was internal dialogue and what she'd said out loud. It's not a deal breaker, but noticed it a couple of times
Overall, a good story which I did enjoy, but I don't think it'll fall into my repeat listen stash.

It was good, but not nearly enough of Sebastian
