Great Disappointment

I think this is the Noddy and Big Ears of crime fiction. The story was bland and predictable and the love interest and dialogue were just cringeworthy. I purchased this as a 4 book offer - I managed to complete the first book - just to see if there was any improvement as the book progressed. There wasn't. I cannot read the following books.

Too much sex!

I don’t consider myself a prude, but I prefer my police and mystery stories not to be interspersed with explicit sex scenes the sometimes last for my entire 40 minute commute.

What a great group of novels.

I thoroughly enjoyed this series of novels. Well written and well narrated. I couldn't wait to listen and wished there were more now that I have finished them. Good stories.

Not My Cup Of Tea

Sorry, I could not finish book one of this multiple book volume. The story did not hold my interest and I became bored with it.

Enjoyed the crime part

I really enjoyed the crime and mystery and Randy, but Sarah was such a selfish person I wanted to slap her. Got halfway through the second book and couldn’t stand her petulance any longer. I sincerely hope Randy kicked her to the curb and lived happily ever after. Not to be recommended.

great police series!

This is the full series of the Pine Hills Police and I enjoyed my binge listen! Through books one to three, we follow along with Detectives Detwiler and Kovak as they solve various crimes. In book four, we catch up with one of the police officers that we met in book one...she has moved to Florida. Each book is well written, with some steamy moments, but the romance does not overpower the story. Excellent narration keeps you interested in the stories that you barely realize that you've been listening for 40 hrs! Highly recommend this series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Absolutely Fabulous Stories !!!

I thoroughly enjoyed all of these mysteries. Of course, I love Kelly Hazen’s voice from all of Peyton Brooks Detective stories and I’ll definitely be on the lookout for more Terry Odell books since I loved these. I definitely got my monies worth !!!

Collection of cliches

The heroine is so dumb she forgets to eat but the hero is attracted to her beyond any woman on earth. Yikes

A lot better then I thought it would be.

Didn't think I would like it but it turned out to be a very good book. Waiting for more just like it. Not the kind of books I regularly read.

Good small town sexy police thrillers

This series was my first by the author & narrator. The characters had real depth, the stories were full of mysteries involving police which I love. They each had a remarkable love story with very sexy scenes which made these extremely enjoyable for me. Don’t miss out on some great stories. The narrator was fair, didn’t have many different inflections between characters.
