Sensational content!
I will be honest, unfortunately, we realized with my wife a little bit late what our daughter went through the past few months. We went to therapy which helped and this book gave us so much value that we can use in real life. We got so much closer to our child and there is no more distance or wall between us. We had a breakthrough for sure and only we can thank because of this book and the Author's knowledge. The communication between us is much smoother and finally, we got the trust. She is feeling much better and most importantly eating way better! Definitely recommended audiobooks.

A parents Guide, Inner Anchore
Parents Guide, inner Anchor
This book is about parenting kids with eating disorders: Bulimia Nervosa.
Self image and acceptance is very critical in a childs/teenagers mind. Being mindful of patterns such as playing with food, cutting down main meals, not eating breakfast or lunch ect… are signs to be mindful of.
Also constantly weighing yourself and loosing weight with a bad relationship to food are red flags to look out for and should dealt with as soon as possible to prevent problems further down the road.
Anxiety, depression, stress are also some factors of eating disorders.
A wonderful educational awareness audio to listen to. Knowledge is power and learning about the individual causes and taking positive action when patterns become unhealthy is helpful to know.

A wonderful family approach to Bulimia
I bought this to watch for signs of an eating disorder. High school can be a very challenging time for teenagers and I wanted to have a guide in place more as a precaution than anything else. That plus I wanted to have the information at hand for other friends of mine.
This book is really thoughtfully laid out and obviously crafted with care. I love that the author has firsthand experience with this disease, it adds incredible depth to the book. I really liked the family centered approach.

Great Resource!
The author’s personal narrative is enlightening that it helped me understand what it is like being a person having an eating disorder, what they feel, what they think and what makes them vulnerable. Moreover, the tone is compassionate and respectful to both parents and their daughters.
The audiobook provides a profound understanding of the nature of the problem and helps you identify how your child's condition is likely to be dealt with by professional intervention and how you should support her. A part that I found clever was the do's and don'ts and the real-life examples of how to tackle sensitive subjects around bulimia with our child and other family members that may be unintentionally exacerbating the problem. This audiobook offers a lot more than you might expect. I believe that teachers, counsellors, or coaches who deal with teens on a daily basis may also find this audiobook extremely useful. You must get this!

Self-dialogue Environmental Triggers
This was very educational! As a teacher at a continuation school, we receive annual training on various topics concerning student safety. The post-pandemic brought back a renewed look and necessary professional development for educators concerning social-emotional learning and mental health issues. Yet, there were numerous mental health conditions that were still present not obviously noticed as a trigger for other mental issues. Yet, most educators are not trained to look at a skinny girl and suddenly think about Bulimia. Clothes can hide a lot. This audiobook caused me to be more open to all mental issues concerning my students.
