I was not familiar with ODD - had heard the term but wasn't clear about it. This book gives a great definition and history of it. I can also see how this can be confused with other types of conditions. I believe with this informative guide, folks can really start to get a handle on what they are dealing with, whether one is a parent or not. So many of us are not around kids and are simply not aware of this type of condition. This not only describes what it is, but gives the reader a chance to embrace the many ways to help with it. From combating feelings, to dealing with melt downs and tantrums. How to turn it into a learning and positive experience. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is willing to expand their knowledge. For it is certain that we can better deal with things if our eyes are already opened. Good read!
