A great ‘listen’ , well researched and critically developed, the arguments are appropriately supported convincingly (I found myself nodding in approval more than once) by the evidence provided. However, there was really no need for portions of the last chapter that sounded more like an ideological crusade or political speech: up to that point the main arguments had been made convincingly. For those interested in Brazilian political and economic history, a must!
