The thrilling true story of a British Army soldier who was determined to break free from Japanese captivity in World War II. Corporal Roy Pagani staged a daring escape from the Burma-Thailand Railway of Death, after already escaping twice from captivity, and set out to walk 1,000 miles to freedom in India through some of the most challenging landscape in the world. I learn a lot from Dr Mark Felton's reseach.

More history brought to life, and made accessible to the general public, well narrated as always, thank you.

Fascinating story told very well

Absolutely loved it. The way he told the tale enabled me to envision it in my mind as he went along. Thoroughly researched, and very well executed.

TALKS TOO FAST AND ROBOTIC

I never got past the first chapter of this book as the rate the narrator went at would send you into a panic. Very disappointing
