I juli 2014 fick Sven Erik Nordin beskedet att han hade en aggressiv form av cancer i underlivet. Samtidigt fick han veta att hans enda chans att överleva var att genomgå en omfattande operation som bland annat innebär att hela penis skulle avlägsnas.
