love this book, this story, so so much. great re-read. I'm refreshing myself for the last book.
my only issue?.. how the narrator portrays Mia..
she's this badass, sarcastic assassin.. but he reads her like a pansy. that is my only fault with this audiobook.

Struggled to get started but became a huge fan. If you're listening to this as an audio book and also feel confused at the start I'd say stick with it. I still have no idea what was going on in the first chapter or two but after the first 4-5 hours it gets really good and I was hooked!

Great magic, strong plot, really interesting and varied characters. Also good pace, fun use of language and unexpected twists.

One is issue the chapters are wrong on the files..... so chapter 5 is chapter 6 and so on

I've been completely engrossed in the world Jay Kristoff has created. I'm totally relieved to be able to charge straight onto the next book in the series. Love the characters so much & Jay's storytelling is brilliant.
