Nature of Depression includes clear explanations, and the research behind, for patterns of depression. Just as our actions have "taught" us ineffective responses, the book helps us learn to avoid these pitfalls. It helps to calm our mind. This is one of the most helpful audiobooks I have listened on depression. It is invaluable!
