L'ultimo tedoforo è la nuotatrice statunitense Janet Evans che si inerpica su per le tribune. In cima, ad attenderla, c'è qualcuno che la aspetta dietro una quinta. Ancora invisibile agli spettatori e agli occhi delle telecamere.
È l'uomo che gli organizzatori hanno scelto per l’accensione del braciere olimpico. Non un semplice atleta, ma una leggenda.
