Absolutely loved this title, likeable characters having realistic arguments! Little disappointed that the second book in the series isn't available but the third is.. feel like I'm going to miss a step by missing a book

I already have this wonderful book in my library, but it's like a completely new listen, and it's all due to the brilliant narration by ka Walsh.

I like this 'falling for my best friend's mum trope' but while I found the characters likeable and their growing relationship rather lovely I struggled a bit with the flow. Of course there are meant to be bumps in the road for these relationships - that's where the drama comes from - but they just seemed to keep going over the same ground until the crises just became...boring.
On the positive side - oh my - some of those spicy scenes were meltingly hot. I could have definitely managed a little more of that!
And the performance by K. A. Walsh is wonderful. She captured all the characters brilliantly, She conveys passion and angst and her delivery of Emma's accent is wonderfully natural. Lovely.
Overall - whatever its flaws - and it's not Mistakes Were Made - I loved it.

Well that was hot...but it didn't quite flow.

I love Melissa’s book regardless but hearing this again told by K.A. Walsh just about shattered my heart. Outstanding story and and beautifully told. Loved every moment can’t wait for more xxx 💖
