Summary

The second original, touching, twisted, and most of all hilarious novel and audiobook for children performed by David Walliams and Matt Lucas. This wonderful story is told by two of Britain’s best loved comedians and the characters from David’s book spring to life with fantastic voices and characters galore that will make you laugh out loud.

Read by David Walliams and Matt Lucas.

Mr Stink stank. He also stunk. And if it was correct English to say he stinked, then he stinked as well....

Chloe sees Mr Stink every day, but she’s never spoken to him. Which isn’t surprising, because he’s a tramp, and he stinks.

But there’s more to Mr Stink than meets the eye (or nose) and before she knows it, Chloe has an unusual new friend hiding in her garden shed.

As Chloe struggles to keep Mr Stink a secret, and her dad tries to hide a secret of his own, the stage is set for an epic family confrontation. But there's one other person with a an extraordinary secret - Mr Stink himself....

Mr Stink by David Walliams

Funny and had me giggling, lovely bed time 'read' and was read brilliantly by David Walliams, not just a book for the children.

Great entertainment

I loved this book. The fact that Matt Lucas and David Walliams both do the voices of the various characters makes the book come alive, and if, like me, you're a fan of Little Britain you will no doubt relish hearing their voices in this setting. Though it's not a dramatized play, it gives the audiobook a flavour of this, complete with sound effects and is as such perfect for children of all ages, like me.

Brilliant

This book is fabulously funny and touching in many ways. Recommend for anyone. You might not have a dry eye once you’ve listened to this thriller. It tells us how to respect homeless people in many ways.

Good but you need to be at least 7 or 8 to listen to and you do not see alot of tramps today David Walliams has such a good imagination

Wow

I really love 💖 this story. It’s heart ❣ warming, funny 😂 and has a great message. It’s even better as an audio book 📚 because I LOVE 💖 the voices! Please buy, it’s cheap, good and keeps children gripped.

Great Story

This was the first book by David Williams my family listened to. This book is very heartwarming, a little sad, and ends on a great note. I really enjoyed how the author brought together so many aspects into one book. My kids were entranced, and we had a great time listening to this book. I would highly recommend this book for grade school kids. Be prepared to explain what some words mean though. "Tramp" for example. My kids loved it despite the language difference.

A very aromatic comedy drama

My 7-year old son loves this story. (We're only about halfway through, because we only listen to it when we're in the car for longish time periods.) The reader/narrator's vast array of British accents for the various characters are cartoonish when they need to be, but sincere and honestly human when required. Just like a good comedy. Great entertainment with a good human story in the middle of it. I love it too.
