The adventures of little Arabel Jones and her pet raven Mortimer are always brilliant, engrossing, lovable and wonderfully funny.I loved the first one as a child and have since gone on to discover a whole world of things Mortimer can chew, sleep in, or use in yet another ingenious way.
The first of these stories is my favourite, the way the characters interact; the way the anticipation is built up is brilliant; all narrated in a clear and lively fashion that is a pleasure to listen to.
A great listen for young and old alike; it could even be enjoyed as a family.
