There was a lot more to Cruz than the first impression of him, after his very inauspicious meeting with sweet, nerdy Jade. Giving the impression of a bad boy rockstar, there were so many layers to him. He was kind, selfless, supportive and protective, once Jade got to know him they were inseparable. Their romance was slow burn, but passionate and loving. It seemed mature for two young people, even when the going got tough and the pressure was applied by Cruz's unbearable father.
I listened to the audio version. Told in dual pov, both narrators were excellent and very expressive. They both suited the characters.
I'm looking forward to finding out what comes next as they head off on tour with the band, I suspect their love will be tested to its limits. I'm rooting for them both to be able to follow their dreams and am hoping there will be more of Jade's wonderful dad too lol

I was enjoying this, when suddenly the story unexpectedly ended. This was a surprise in itself, but then I noticed the rest of the story is not even available on audible. It's been 2 years since this released, so this isn't just being impatient. I wish the description of the book stated that it was not a complete story - I'm unhappy I spent time on part of a story. There is more of the story in ebook format, but that's not what I'm looking for.
