Biographical snippets from the life of Keith Moon, innovative and furiously eccentric drummer of the hugely successful rock band, The Who, read with emotional enthusiasm by London accented Karl Howman. Moon's story is one of excess, hotel destruction, and super over indulgence, but is also, at times, touching, all told with great effect by the man who, for ten years, was his kinder and friend.

Good fun with that twinge of regret for a man who was the consummate show off showman

"Drumming up a storm."

Brilliant account by the man who perhaps knew Keith Moon the best and delivered excellently by Karl Howman who also knew Moon. Best not to listen to this audio book in public unless you're happy for passers by to see you crying with laughter as you walk along the road.

Hilarious. Made me want to trash my house whilst listening!

Incredible inside story of a life lived to absolute full. From a time when the rock star could do almost anything they liked and be lauded as eccentric rather than accused of being a lunatic. Dougal was clearly very fond of Moonie and able to keep up with him which makes this such an enjoyable account. Bravo dear boy!
