Would you consider the audio edition of Montmorency on the Rocks to be better than the print version?
The audio version of this book is great. I don't think that the written version would be half so good. It was greatly enhanced by Stephen Fry's interpretation. What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
It tied up some of the loose ends but was too abbreviated and left some story lines hanging in the air.Which scene did you most enjoy?
The scene where Montmorency was chasing the crook through Kew Gardens GreenhouseWas this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes but it is too long for one sittingAny additional comments?
The book was greatly enhanced by the reading of the story by Stephen Fry. His use of accents and different voices turned it into a performance. I have not read anything written by this author before but will look out for any other audible productions of her storiesListen and relax on the beach

Is there anything you would change about this book?
The story is quite weak - it has a good build-up, but a let-down endingWhat was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
The most interesting was the promise of a bombing and epidemic mystery happening simultaneously.Have you listened to any of Stephen Fry’s other performances? How does this one compare?
He is always the consummate narrator with a voice like warm chocolate (which is not always terribly good when he tries to be "common"!)Was Montmorency on the Rocks worth the listening time?
Yes (just)Weak story, good narration
