About this listen

Read by actress Imelda Staunton, Monkey Puzzle is a clever, funny and charming tale from the unparalleled picture book partnership of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, creators of The Gruffalo. This audiobook edition also includes a song and a read along track.

"I've lost my mum!"

Where is Monkey's mummy? It's not too much fun being lost in the jungle, and little monkey wants his mum. A kindly butterfly is keen to help, but they don't seem to be having much luck and keep finding the wrong animals! But eventually, they find . . . Dad! It's just as well that he knows exactly where mum is, and she's waiting with a well-deserved cuddle.

Perfect for listening to at home, in the car, at bedtime – or any time at all!

I've loved this book for many years but found the performance very frustrating
the womans voice is very high pitched and a bit annoying but the part that really stuck out was she was saying some of the story as if it was the snake/parrot etc talking but it was just the Butterfly and Monkey. Just frustrating

Story Great , Performance Not So
