This has been the best of the 4 Andre Klein books on Dino's progress.
I am a beginner and found the books, and this book in particular, to be of the right standard. The stories are of interest and there is plenty of grammar points if you look.

I am currently doing Paul Nobel’s German course and these are suitable for a beginner like my self. The stories are read so that one can actually understand what is said. They also teach you a thing or two about Germany and German culture, which is nice.
