Der Autor der liebevollen Jetzt-schon-Klassiker "About a Boy" und "High Fidelity" wirft Hörer mit "Miss Blackpool" ins London der Swinging Sixities. Oder zumindest ist London das sehnsüchtige Ziel von Barbara, die das trostlose Leben im beschaulichen Blackpool nicht mehr aushält.
