Good introduction to mindfulness

What did you like most about Mindfulness for Women?

Good explanation and examples of why mindfulness is good for you. Good meditation exercises at end of book.

Any additional comments?

I think i needed more info as to HOW to incorporate mindfulness as a daily habit - this bit I struggle with. I already know it is a fantastic practice but don't do it often enough. It didn't really help me hear how wonderful other women found it. The meditation exercises at the end are good - would have liked more of these and of longer duration.

Great for sleep

I can't really write an in-depth review about this, because I've never actually listened to the entire thing - I'm always asleep within 15 minutes of pressing play!

But given that that was exactly what I bought it for, I shan't complain

A novice at mindfulness - but gained a lot from this purchase. Would recommend.

Although aware of mindfulness, this audio book was my first proper introduction to the topic. I listened to this book whilst pregnant and found the chapters really easy to listen to and the meditations enjoyable. I feel like this book has helped me to see things with a wider perspective and (I hope!) I am now more open mind. It has certainly helped me cope with the stress of having two little ones to look after!! Would highly recommend

A wonderful life changing book

There is so much well thought out and useful information for women overwhelmed by busy, stressful lives. The guided meditations are excellent and a realistic length to fit into your life.

An inspirational, supportive well delivered book.

At a time in my life when I am struggling to manage my mental illness, this superb book has guided and enlightened me in the mindfulness approach to knowing myself. I've listened to each chapter whilst walking in the countryside where I live. I am still mastering the habit releasers but thoroughly enjoying meditating and am getting good at the full body scan. thank you
