I started practicing some of the techniques

I started practicing some of the techniques. It worked better than bug spray on my mosquito bites! For anxieties, big and small, the book gave me successful techniques for dealing with all kinds of fear.

Very helpful

It is a very true a insightful listen. Clear and concise ways to achieve the desired out come and comes with excessive and other resources to help you study. I already knew most of this information because I’m curios on the topic but if this is the first book you read toward understanding yourself it will be very beneficial.

The book is broken down into three sections -- Basic, Everyday and Moods - It is a great book to start with for meditation tips and I picked up many to use daily - even while doing the dishes.

Mindfulness Meditation for Beginners

I am a meditator myself and I really loved the reminder to practice engaged mindfulness. The whole section on working with mindfulness in daily life was so helpful for reminding me to stay grounded while I am going about my every day tasks.

Helped me to find peace.

I always thought one had to do meditation a certain way, that only monks could attain. After reading this book, I discovered even I could find peace through meditation. Since practicing what I learned in this book, I sleep more at night, feel less stressed about everyday situation, and generally feel more happy all around.

Clinical experience

This audible book 📙 was very hard to listen to as it was very technical. I would not recommend this book to anyone beginning mindfulness because of the difficulty I had with understanding the information. This book is better for a clinician.

This guide is easy to follow

Meditation practices, are techniques that encourage and develop concentration, clarity, emotional positivity, and a calm seeing of the true nature of things. I have personally been practicing meditation for over three years now; and i feel that it has improved the quality of my life. Very informative guide on how to start meditating. I had not heard about the candle meditation technique, so i am definitely going to try that.

What I like about this book

What I like about this book is that I can easily flip to a chapter that is relevant to a client and then guide them through the exercise. It is also so easy to show them the steps so they can go home and practice on their own!

Good positive book

I welcome the test of giving clear, succinct guidelines to get a formula directly just as passing on the quintessence of a dish. Consolidating the how-to with the soul is urgent. The amount all the more testing it probably been to make cognizance shaping plans to support a more joyful, more advantageous, and progressively adjusted self.
