About this listen
The sensuality of Louisiana's humid, jasmine-scented air permeates this love triangle about three people who are haunted by the memories of the Vietnam war.

American playwright Doris Baizley’s Mimi's Guide is an emotionally charged drama set in humid Louisiana. Two people involved in a love triangle during the Vietnam War encounter each other 26 years later on a university campus. Powers Boothe gives a commanding performance as the poet Waterman, Frances Conroy provides a gentle counterpoint as his muse, Mimi, and Ping Wu is charming as associate professor Robert, who invited Waterman to be writer-in-residence. This audiobook is a live recording of a theater production.
