About this listen

It's here! Number one best-selling author Stephenie Meyer makes a triumphant return to the world of Twilight with this highly anticipated companion: the iconic love story of Bella and Edward told from the vampire's point of view.

When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun.

This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire. As we learn more fascinating details about Edward's past and the complexity of his inner thoughts, we understand why this is the defining struggle of his life. How can he justify following his heart if it means leading Bella into danger?

In Midnight Sun, Stephenie Meyer transports us back to a world that has captivated millions of listeners and brings us an epic novel about the profound pleasures and devastating consequences of immortal love.

Love it! Edward comes front stage and it a very clever to hear Edwards thoughts. I hope there could be one for Jackob!

Love it! Very cool!

It has been years since I read this story. Within seconds I was 15 again. It the love still as cheese as it was. Yes. And I love it!
It's books like these that remind me that magic is real and we can find it in each other, if we look. From the skill in the voice reading to the fascinating way the same story I read all those years ago, yet so new. Everything exactly as it was and yet so new.
Thank you. I truly enjoyed this story like I didn't know I still could. What a way to restart a love of books I thought I had lost.

The side of the story I didn't know I needed

Twilight saga is my guilty pleasure even though I’m long time not a teenager. I really enjoyed all the previous books and movies. But this book was quite a disappointment. Honesty not sure what I’ve expected - it’s same story only told by another character, can it be somehow very intriguing, new or capturing? Not really, at least for me. Couldn’t wait to finish it.

Glad I did it in audio. He was good!
Some of it was a bit tedious but overall it was very good. Being in Edwards head was much better than I could’ve imagined! I’m now off to watch Twilight after a decade since I saw it last!
Thank you Stephenie.

Narrator is awesome!
