Pretty Good

It's pretty good. Some of the stuff was not new to me, but even so, having it said, written and mapped out with reasoning and application solidifies the concepts. If you're after sharpening your mind to act and thrive in an ever-changing world, this would be a good listen. I took off one star because I personally wasn't thrilled with the narration at times..but I could be overly critical on that.

This is a very good book

This is a very good book if you are trying to learn how to meditate on your own. There first thing I found very helpful was to build a small bench to sit on while practicing breathing. I honestly didn't know that was something you could do. There's various extras that come with getting the book like podcasts and useful articles and interviews. This is the kind of book where you listen some and then think about it for a while. It says in the first section to think and practice for a couple weeks before moving on.

Great book

Too good too put down! A lot of what Tony Bennis reveals about his upbringing is very similar to mine. This allowed me to connect on a deeper level than what I thought I would. Thus a hidden nugget, personally, to let me know I'm on the right path! Thank you Tony Bennis .

Great book

Great book this book needs to approached with a open mind and some one whiling to actually put in a little work. NOT a entertainment listen very true to self development the first chapter may make you a little uncomfortable but it a very helpful asking yourself questions you don't routinely ask your self. This book nudged me out of my comfort zone and got to try things that mark was able to clarify that before we just out of reach on my understanding. All in all great book worth the time if your willing to do the work.

This was honestly

This was honestly one of the best books I have ever listen . In fact, it's one of the few books I have listen several times. Every time I listen it, I have picked up something new. I bought the audio book so I could listen to it. I bought the book for the first time about 18 days ago and I still refer back to it.

He makes it easy to relate

Being someone on a journey of personal growth this book spoke to me. It is a book that can be useful for people deep in their journey to people just starting to people who haven't started yet. I have done some of the exercises and they have really helped me out, even though I already thought I was very self disciplined.

This book is changing my life little by little

I love the fact that this book is broken into daily listenings. I start each day listening a daily passage from this book. A lot of what's in this book really resonates with me and helps to give me a new or different perspective on forming self-discipline. I learned about this book from a friend who, in my opinion, is self-disciplined. But she listens this book regularly. I, on the other hand, have struggled with forming self-discipline. This book has really helped me.

Great book for getting one's life together.

This book is great. It is an easy listen and the exercises are simply making lists. Those who are saying this book is pointless and is just about positive thinking are totally wrong and not writing out the exercises. This book will kick your brain into gear and give you tools to achieve things from losing weight to changing your financial future.
