Not really that good for an audiobook format

On the plus side this book has GOOD GENERAL INFORMATION and is written in a very SIMPLE LANGUAGE that makes medical information really easy to understand.
Each chapter is self-standing, which means that it is probably really easy to hop over what you are not interested in the hardcopy of the book. In the audiobook version, as it is much harder to do that, there is A LOT OF REPETITION. There are reference values which I believe are presented as tables in the hardcopy. It would be nice if those who buy the audiobook version could download a pdf with that information.
On the minus side I found the author and especially the narrator VERY PATRONIZING and extremely annoying because of that. The author probably lives in a bubble of rich American women and has no idea of the real world! It has advice such as "book a massage" or a "SPA weekend", hire a personal trainer, and so on, as if normal people could afford that. In the final chapter she goes on and on with self-help advice: "Learn how to say no to joining the committee for that fund raiser" and suggests different ways to say no. Seriously?
IN A NUTSHELL: Get the hardcopy, read the medical stuff (good and easy to understand) and skip the nonsense self-help chapters.
