Erich Schatz, von der Mäuseregierung als Generalbevollmächtigter eingesetzt, soll einen Plan entwickeln, wie die Mäuse mit ihren ärgsten Feinden, den Ratten, fertig werden können. Und so sieht der Plan aus: Mimi-Mauschi, die Agentin der Mäuse, schleicht sich als Ratte verkleidet in Zakarax' unterirdisches Reich, um nach Schatz zu suchen.
