About this listen
This guide will quickly and easily help you develop a Scottish accent with a guide to the oral posture needed to develop an authentic accent and the techniques in terms of mouth, lip and tongue position needed to produce vowels, consonants and other components of the Scottish language. In addition to detailed explanation of the appropriate pronunciation there are then exercises throughout as well as listen and repeat segments as part of the course to provide additional practice. This is an ideal way to prepare for that upcoming audition or part that requires an authentic Scottish accent and to improve your skills as an actor or actress.
©2023 Stephanie Lam (P)2023 Historical AudiobooksWith regards to the Scottish specific sections, about 5 minutes are useful, the rest is about how to go through the alphabet A B C D E etc, and repeating after the speaker a handful of simple words, to skip to repeating excessively long phrases which, accent aside, are just too long to remember. The speaker of this latter part of the book has a very mild accent, so again not all that useful.
In the generic closing section the author suggests moving onto other more in depth resources, but none are specifically mentioned (just "a movie you like")
It has been a total waste of time and money.
