His Promise

A love they thought would last forever.

Kim and Bruce were inseparable as teens and believed their love was strong enough to overcome everything. Bruce promised they would be together forever, but when he left for medical school, everything changed - and Kim married someone else.

When they both return to their hometown after Kim’s divorce, they end up fighting the attraction between them. Neither is willing to talk about the promise Bruce made...until one summer night.

Love's Promise

Kim and Bruce are finally getting married after postponing their wedding not once, but twice because of unforeseen emergencies. But then, what could Kim have expected from a busy doctor like Bruce Siegel?

However, as their wedding day approaches, it isn’t just nerves that get the best of Kim. To her and Bruce’s dismay, problems seem to be tossed in front of them, threatening to end their happily ever after.

A Promise of Forever

Sheriff Blake Gatlin has moved to rural Montana for a fresh start, but when he meets Brandyne, a single mom of five struggling to make ends meet, he is determined to be the only man around helping her out.

But Brandyne is determined to stand on her own two feet, very aware that Blake isn’t jumping in for a readymade family. But when Brandyne’s past comes knocking, she is forced to decide between love and what is right for her children.

A touching series about family and love

In HIS PROMISE, we are introduced to Kim and Bruce. This young couple was madly in love and when Bruce goes away to college with the intent of becoming a doctor, she promises to wait for him. But misunderstandings, family intervention and lack of communication keeps them apart. Disillusioned, Kim marries a man she doesn’t love . A marriage that didn’t last. Twenty years later, Bruce is back in town, now a nationally acclaimed pediatrician. When they meet again, they realize the sparks are still there but so are the hurt feelings. Will they get a second chance at love, or will the past continue to interfere? In LOVE’S PROMISE - we continue with the story of Kim and Bruce Siegel. This time around, they are planning a wedding. A wedding that has already been postponed more than once due to Bruce’s profession. But the past still haunts Kim and her feelings of not being good enough are never far away. Add to that a possible stalker, lies of omission, and a mother that takes over the wedding , and we wonder if the wedding will ever take place. What happens when the “lie of omission” is revealed ? A PROMISE OF FOREVER- Wow, I absolutely loved this story. The story centers around single mom of 5 , Brandyne, and Sheriff Blake Gatlin. Brandyne has lived in poverty , especially after Willy, the father of her children, and the man for whom she dropped all her future plans at the age of 18, abandons them . One of the men that find them in a shack is Blake. A man with a gentle soul, and one that with the town’s help, is helping her survive. A friendship develops between these two, but what can Brandyne offer him, but her own baggage and a woman with 5 kids? Blake sees in Brandyne a strong woman who has survived in spite of the obstacles she has had to overcome. But what happens when she is left homeless a second time? What happens when Willy comes back? Will Blake be left with a broken heart? Kudos to the narrator Joleen Sweetstone. She did a wonderful job with the various voices.
