About this listen

This is the 5th book in the Klu Klinder series.

Sprout is attacked by Indians. He finds a buffalo wallow and stands them off until Klu and Shad come to his rescue. Melody delivers a baby girl they name Elizabeth “Lizzy." Mark decided to take a trip to Pueblo to clear his head and make a decision regarding his future with Rachel. While traveling, he helps the owner of a small ranch deal with cattle rustlers.

While Mark is in Pueblo, the bank is robbed, and the town Deputy is killed by the bandits. He agrees to track the three bandits for Marshal Butterworth. They trail the bandits to Canon City. Marshal Butterworth kills two of the bandits in two separate fights. The third bandit shoots Butterworth from an alley. Mark is left to track down and capture or kill the bandit.

Mark changes his surname to Feathers and decides to become a Deputy U.S. Marshal. He marries Rachel and they move to Pueblo. On the trip, Mark deals with the man who killed the Jeffers family. The son of the cattle baron vows to kill Mark. Will he be successful?
