Summary

Discover the magic of New York Times best seller Melissa Foster's writing and see why millions have fallen in love with the fiercely loyal and sassily sexy characters in the Love in Bloom big-family romance collection. Love in Bloom novels are written to stand alone or may be enjoyed as part of the larger series, so dive right into this fun, sexy romance featuring Graham Braden's business partner, Knox Bentley!

In Making You Mine...

Knox Bentley never liked the pomp and circumstance that came with being wealthy. He'd distanced himself from his pretentious family and their fortune as a young adult and found his own path to success. But even with the world at his fingertips, he realizes something is missing, and after a long stay overseas, he finally knows exactly what it is. His no-strings-attached hookups with Aubrey Stewart, an exquisite and stubbornly independent blonde, are no longer enough for him. They connect on every level, but Aubrey is a fierce businesswoman with a new movie channel on the horizon and no time for much else. She is the deal he can't close, the precious jewel even his billions can't buy. Now that he's back in the States, he's determined to show her that what they have goes beyond the bedroom and finally make her his.

Love in Bloom novels feature alpha-male heroes and sexy, empowered women. They're flawed, funny, passionate, and relatable to listeners who enjoy contemporary romance and women's fiction. For avid fans of the Love in Bloom series, you may have met sexy and hilarious Knox Bentley, Graham Braden's business partner, in Trails of Love, and Aubrey Stewart, one of the badass billionaire founders of the Ladies Who Write (LWW), in Anything for Love.

Making You Mine

It’s no secret that I love a Melissa Foster story, and each one I think is my favourite but in essence they all are. Making You Mine was no different, though the story was slightly different than the other books – whilst most heavily feature family this one was more about just Knox and Aubrey making you focus more on the just the two of them and their amazing chemistry. We do get some time with Knox’s family and a little time with Aubrey’s introducing some great character’s which knowing Melissa we will be getting their stories at some point and I am already excited at that prospect!

Aubrey is so focused on securing a property for her best friend Charlotte who’s book is being made into a movie, Knox has a shoe-in with the owners of the beautiful Monroe Inn and when he gets her a meeting little did she know that the shoe-in was in fact a major one – Knox’s family owns the inn!! But just because they own it, its not as easy to secure it for filming, his brother Landon had some insane media presences following a celebrity shock engagement. Understandably Landon doesn’t want the same thing to happen again but will consider Aubrey’s offer.

Knox and Aubrey are so alike and so perfect that Knox has realised that she is the one for him and after two years of hooking up and having the intense feelings and chemistry that they do he nudges Aubrey into the idea of dating. So when they get essentially snowed in at the Monroe Inn, making this setting magical, you really see how they two of them open up to each other and you see Aubrey break down her walls piece by piece.

This story will warm you up on even the coldest of days and this will make a great valentine read! Making You Mine is a sinful, sexy and flaming hot read set in a magical winter wonderland.

A very enjoyable listen

Its always good when side characters get there own story, especially when they are as hot as Knox and Aubrey. They have been seeing each other on and off for over 2 years. They are always at the same events because both of their PAs make sure they are. After a lot of soul searching Knox decides its time for them to take the next step and be in a committed relationship. This is a great way to catch up with some of the main characters especially at the end of the book. A great book to listen to.

Knox and Aubrey

Knox and Aubrey have been hooking up for a while now, but that’s no longer enough for Knox. Now, he’s determined to convince her to let him make her his…

Knox was a sweet, thoughtful guy who was determined to convince strong-willed Aubrey to commit. I love this role reversal in this story; usually it’s the hero who’s afraid of commitment, not the heroine! I also liked their banter, chemistry, and relationships with their friends and families.

The writing was done beautifully and the characters were three-dimensional and relatable.

Narrators Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke , as always, did a wonderful job.

Making You Mine: Knox and Aubrey is a contemporary billionaire romance written in dual third-person narrative and performed in dual narration. It’s a standalone that ends with a HEA. No cliffhanger, no cheating.

Making You Mine

Haveing a casual fling is all Aubrey thinks she has time for. Knox is trying to change her mind, but with powerful women can be very set in their was, but so can a powerful man. When she needs help with work he jumps in to help and prove his love for her. Great story it checks all the boxes! Great narration as well! Thanks Audiobook obsession for the recommendation.

From casual to intense

Knox and Aubrey are trying to be casual. But we all know in the romance world how well that works out. Knox is all in. He does everything he can to woo Aubrey. Aubrey is still unsure and needs a lot of coaxing. (I actually tried to coax her myself!) I fell hard for Knox. I wanted Aubrey to see that in him. It was a nice change to see the guy work hard to get the girl. I really enjoyed this book. I did not read the others in the series, yet! But it was easy to follow and I did not feel as if I missed anything important. I cannot wait to read more in this series.

Andi Arndt and Jason Clarke are a powerful narrating team. They compliment each other well. It is so easy to get lost in their narration. Each transition was smooth and flawless. You can never go wrong with either one of these narrators, let alone with both of them. Add in Melissa Foster and this is one MUST listen to story.

A good romance

A really good book, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. This is one of those books that leaves you with a smile.
I loved Knox and Aubrey and every moment they shared together it was sweet and so lovely.

The narration was just perfect, you really can't expect anything less from Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt.

Awesome narration

I seriously loved the narration on this book. It made the characters real in my head. It was like watching a movie. Major props. The book was really good. It can be read as a standalone, although you do have cameos from other characters in previous books. The writing was done well, the characters were multidimensional. This is a great book to have when you're looking for minimal angst. The story flowed well, and I listened to it in one sitting. Highly enjoyable and highly recommended.

Listen to the Audible version

I was super excited to see Melissa Foster, Jason Clarke and Andi Arndt all on the same audiobook, since I search out books to read/listen to any of them on their own. I had really high expectations for the combination of the three and they didn't disappoint.

The worst thing I can say is that I wish I had re-read all the Love in Bloom books recently. Since it's been awhile, I know I'm not remembering all of the background with the characters. That being said, Making You Mine can be read as a stand alone, you just get more background if you have read the series. The story itself didn't surprise me, but it also didn't make me angry with excessive break ups and reunions so I'd like to give it 4.5 stars.

The performances I'd rate higher than 5 stars if there was an option above 5. Dual points of view with dual narrators brings the story to life, and they're both exceptional narrators.

hooking up leads to love

Another great story in this series by Melissa Foster. It was so good that I had to listen almost in one sitting. Causal hookup leads to falling in love for Aubrey and Knox. She was fighting her heart to give away her love to him. She didnt want to do relationship. Knox knew she was it. From end of Chapter 15 to end of book, I wasn't teary eyed you were. highly recommend this series.

Andi Ardnt and Jason Clarke can't say enough about these 2. They are both favorites. I love when they narrate together. Jason Clarke's voice in my ears..Wow.
