In this novella, Magnus, a former scientist and current warrior against the unfathomable evils that beset our world, discovers two new crises: that Russia is developing a virus that targets those with supernatural origins and that his dragon girlfriend is pregnant. Typically, he isn't equipped to handle either situation well, but as usual he has friends willing to rally round and help, including a troll known as the Professor, Miss Kiki, the vampire queen of Virginia, and his ex girlfriend, the wizard Amy. Hijinks are bound to ensue and thus begins another round of adventure, humor, and complicated paranormal romance.
