Luca has so many layers to unpick and understand how such a harsh man came to be, and loved Aria's character, I think this is one of my favourite mafia romances

If ever there was a definition of an alpha a-hole it would be Luca Vitiello. He’s a capo in the making and everything to be feared and desired.
This book was sinfully sexy and full of danger and suspense and I couldn’t get enough.
I’ve marked down stars because I found the heroine’s character to be lacking for something I can’t really place. I’m not one for character bashing but she was standing up to the would be Capo, her arranged marriage husband since she was 15 and the next she was telling him she wasn’t ready to consummate their marriage.
Sebastian York as always delivers to perfection and it gets that this is Luca’s story but even a epilogue PoV from Aria would have earned a full 5 star rating.
