Love sick 🤢

A lot of SP/EH lovers will know this one, it’s on so many top lists so I knew I had to give it another re-read & a fresh review! I got it on audible this time, listening to it elevated it so much more for me! Also the cover…UNREAL 👌🏻

Mark is madly in love with Rebecca, he’s totally obsessed with her but, he can feel a change, Rebecca doesn’t seem interested anymore, the love is not being reciprocated. She doesn’t want to hurt his heart & she can’t find the courage to tell him but she’s already found someone else.

Mark already knows this though, he followed her & he isn’t happy! He truly loves Rebecca with all his heart. How can she sleep with someone else & leave him like that, he thought they were going to be together forever!!

Well of course he’s not going to let her go that easy…he’s been “collecting” something special just for her, he’s ready to make her ‘lovesick’ 🫣

Errrrm new fear has been unlocked, the thought of being purposely injected & diseased by needles ect goes right through me 😬 Mark was GRIM, VILE & a complete sadist!!

The thought that this could actually happen is so scary!! I love that Athans books always leave you slightly fearful due to the ‘it could be true’ elements in every read!

Athan will forever be an all time fav for me, he is one of my comfort authors that never fails me ☺️🤎

This is the first book I have read / listened to by Jon Athan and I certainly hope that it wont be the last. I love this genre and have a love of the disturbing and squeamish. I was intrigued by the cover and I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to hear this book. It is highly disturbing and it makes you genuinely think about how far somebody could go when affected by a cheating partner. The resentment held that could make somebody lose control of their actions. just great all round listen . I was given this book by the author/narrator in return for an honest and unbiased review
