Summary

The most shocking, true encounter you will ever listen to...In the summer of 2008, Tom made the move from Wisconsin to Idyllwild, California, where he intended to embrace a change of scenery and a healthier lifestyle, while continuing to grow his successful online business. Shortly after the move, Tom began experiencing strange and grim happenings around his property. He initially presumed that someone was messing with him...that was until he came face to face with something he never thought existed. Living Among Bigfoot: First Contact is a story based on Tom's multiple encounters with the Bigfoot species.

First Edition of the Popular Amazon Book Series

I was thrilled to see this popular Amazon series finally arrive on Audible. For those that don’t know, this is a series of the author’s encounters with Bigfoot. Each edition ends on a cliffhanger. The story is unlike anything you have read or heard before. Book wise, we are in the middle of series two, so I am familiar with what will happen. This is not the usual I saw Bigfoot cross the road or slap the side of the house story. Stick with the series and it will become more like the X-Files with plenty of “holy ****,” and “wtf?!” This is a trip down the rabbit hole that goes deeper and further than expected. It’s also highly addicting. You have been warned. Great narration as well.

Good stuff!

At first I was apprehensive about buying an audiobook that was so short, but as I listened I was sucked in by it. Mostly because I live near by where these events are supposed to have occurred! If half of what Tom writes about is true, He had some harrowing experiences that I wouldn't wish on an enemy. This is the 1st in a series of fun books, so give it a listen. You won't regret it and you'll have some fun. Just don't listen to them at night...alone, while walking around outside. P.S. It nice to Finally find a story, or series of stories where the legendary Bigfoot isn't some lonely love starved pervert roaming the woods!

Too many disclaimers and much too plodding.

Couldn't finish. His side commentary on just about everything is very tedious and I finally had to stop listening.

Breathtaking

As an amateur Sasquatch researcher, I was intrigued by another account. This book is brilliantly written. It leaves one with a longing to get the next book. I highly recommend this book to fanatics and skeptics alike. Well done!

Just be honest.

This is not a book, it’s at best a short narrative that actually has no resolution. You have to buy another and another to get the whole story. There are other authors like Rusty Wilson who offer completed works for a fair price
That are better quality than this. If there’s nothing else available then go ahead and waste a few credits on this. If you haven’t already downloaded everything else then do that first.

Close Encounter of the Bigfoot Kind

Can't believe this is so short! Was tuned in from the very beginning. Can't wait to read the next one but wish they were longer in length..

Fantastic!

There is something to be said about plugging in those earbuds and listening to a bigfoot story that scares the pants off you! Having read this story as an Ebook, it was nail biting and terrifying, but when you hear the words coming into your brain through first person you honestly feel as though you are living every moment, horrifying as it may be at times, right there with the author. Having read this story, it did not put a damper on the fact that I felt as though I was hearing it all over again like the first time
Believed to be a true account from the author’s own experiences, this first introduction into the horrifying and down right traumatizing new way life for Tom. This account pretty much hits you in face, frightening so, that Tom’s life will never be the same. A kick off, or a kick in the butt really, into a world that most of the world thinks is a joke, a tall tale, a farce and fraud, but a very real telling of one man’s journey into a world that he never knew really existed.

This account of Tom’s experiences at his new home in California will knock you off your socks and make you question your reality, all odd sounds you hear in the dark and bumps in the night you yourself may have experienced.
A simple, quite life is no longer an option for him and there is no turning back from this Pandora’s box. No turning back for the reader either as you delve into this unbelievable rabbit whole of what is still only known to many as fantasy.
You will be hooked to this remarkable and horrifyingly addictive series of Tom’s new reality and introduction to Big Foot. It will captivate you and ensnare your curiosity, whether a believer, a knower, or non-believer just looking for a fantastic story, this is for you. Relive Tom’s nightmarish account right along with him step by step! You will not be disappointed, you will now be a fan of Tom Lyon’s and his remarkable account.

Loved it

I have read the print version and was really excited to see the title available on Audible. I so enjoy a good series and this is one of my favorites. It is common for me to go back and re-listen to the previous books in preparation for reading the latest release. If you are like me and love to read, yet have limited time for the print version of books, Audible has been such a blessing! It's so nice to be able to re-listen to books and remind myself how certain elements fit into the story as it progresses - especially 15 installments later! Or just re-listen to my favorites :) I look forward to seeing more of Tom's works available in this format.
