Great twist

I looked forward to this even though it was a re-release but I found it a bit dated - Jeremy Kyle and phone technology. It started well but then Joe started making some daft moves and then continued to do so throughout. The twist was as I thought but poor Joe was blind. Richard Armitage made this interesting which kept me going until the end. His uncanny skill of making each character sound different - making it sound like a crowd of different narrators. His female characters are particularly brilliant without sounding silly as so many other narrators do. I usually love TM Logan but this one I’m afraid was a bit meh.

Narration provided the mood rather than the writing

really gripping and Richard Armitage's narration added to the tension. In a novel all about misdirection on social media, the listener was certainly all over the place about what was real or manipulated.

brilliant piece of writing
