Summary
Le Livre d'Isaïe, ou "Livre d'Ésaïe", est un livre de l'Ancien Testament. Il traite de la déportation du peuple juif à Babylone puis de son retour et de la reconstruction du Temple de Jérusalem sur les ordres du Grand Roi achéménide Cyrus II.
Il est le premier des grands prophètes inclus dans les Nevi'im. Le livre se présente sous le nom d'Isaïe, un personnage qui aurait vécu aux alentours du VIIIe siècle av. J.-C. siècle sous les règnes d'Ozias, de Jotham, d'Achaz et d'Ézéchias.
