Summary

Il y a soixante ans, le 25 novembre 1959, disparaissait Gérard Philipe. Il avait trente-six ans. Juste avant sa mort, ignorant la gravité de son mal, il annotait encore des tragédies grecques, rêvait d'incarner Hamlet et se préparait à devenir, au cinéma, l'Edmond Dantès du Comte de Monte-Cristo. C'est qu'il croyait avoir la vie devant lui. Du dernier été à Ramatuelle au dernier hiver parisien, semaine après semaine, jour après jour, l'acteur le plus accompli de sa génération se préparait, en vérité, à son plus grand rôle, celui d'un éternel jeune homme.
