A bit mixed
The narrator almost spoiled this for me with the irritating and constant pauses in the wrong places, plus some strange 'male' voices. A shame as the story and characters are interesting and appealing. Having visited Cuba I enjoyed the descriptions and hearing more of the history of the island.- and felt a little peeves at not having travelled around enough to experience some of the places the story took me to. I've enjoyed all of Rosanna Ley's books that I've heard so far and I'm glad I didn't let the narrator's delivery put me off finishing this one

Very disappointing
What would have made Last Dance in Havana better?
This story line had promise but was too slow, dreary and predictable. I have enjoyed all the authors other books as a good relaxing read with well developed characters and a little mystery thrown in. However I really struggled to finish this book and thought it was poor compared with her other novels. The story was trite, the characters boring and irritating and not likeable at all.
What could Rosanna Ley have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Made it about half the length!
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narration was appalling. There were pauses in the wrong places which completely detracted from the story and the dubious accents used for the men and the Cubans were awful, completely unnecessary and frankly, were laughable. I would not want to listen to another book narrated by this person again.
Any additional comments?
I will read Rosanna's next book as they are excellent books to read on holiday or to listen to while driving. I just hope it will be better than this one!
